History

Sesaya was founded by Arpita Ghosal (B Ed, Ph D) and Scott Sneddon (Ph D) in 2004 with the vision to provide lively and interactive music education to children, with an emphasis on participation and process

What began as a small neighbourhood music-and-movement program has grown to offer:

  • programs for schools and childcare centres
  • professional development for teachers
  • workshops at the faculties of education at OISE/UT and York University

Our mission is simple: to support students, teachers and families in learning, growing . . . and having fun through music and the arts.
